It's called a what?

Yesterday at YW's I was explaining how I hit my elbow...and that it hurt really really bad! And one of my girls said to me "did you know the skin on your elbow is called a weiness?" SAY WHAT? I don't know about you but when I hear "weiness" I think of something else.
So I got curious and decided to look it up...
FOLKS it really is called a WEINESS!
I'm sorry friends..but my elbow now makes me want to blush!

I admit it!

I have decided it is time to officially come out of the blogging closet. I have a problem....I like to stalk blogs. I enjoy reading about peoples random lives....some people I have never personally met...some people I knew in school, or knew through the dancing world. So here is a warning to all you out in the wonderful world of BLOG.....don't be surprised if you find your blog listed as a blog I enjoy reading.

In addition to being a self-proclaimed blog stalker I have decided I that I need to be better about leaving comments on those of you who I admittedly stalk blogs. I am sorry I truly suck at this. I want you to leave comments here on my corner of the web....and so I am going to start being better about telling you what I think of you too. *I mean that as nice as possible*

So come out of the closet.....admit that you love stalking me as much as I love you stalking me. HA! No for real....don't be shy leave me your blog addy...so I don't have to pretend I don't know it anymore!

Here I leave you with a cute picture of my Ava....and my Elle too!

I was a Women First!

If this post offends you....sorry...wait no I am not sorry!

I have found that in my efforts in being a good wife and momma I've lost myself. I find defining myself in the tasks that make me good at my job of being a stay at home mom, and homemaker. And in my culture (I say mine..because all of you aren't from Utah, and not all of you are LDS) it seems that unless you completely lose yourself in those two things then you are some how less righteous. As if it is more noble to be overwhelmed, and busy all the time. And if you happen to admit that you aren't busy all the time, or overwhelmed and okay with it...then you are not as righteous.
I am sorry but I think that is a load of honky! I am fine with not making myself run ragged all the time. I am happy that I take time for myself.
Don't get me wrong I adore being a momma and wife....but how can we be good at those things if we aren't good to ourselves. It is okay to say No to things when we are asked. I say no all the time. (Ask Elle...ASK Dave for that matter..hehehe) It's okay to not have dinner on the table right when your hubby gets home...and sometimes it's even okay to tell him you aren't cooking that night because you just don't feel like it.
I was a women before I ever was a mom, and when my kids are grown and raising their children I don't want to have to re-learn how to take care of myself. Or even to not want to take care of myself because I took care of others for so long. Ladies it is okay to be selfish sometimes. There is nothing noble in never taking care of you....where you no longer feel special, loved and wanted. I don't think God would want it that way.
I am tired of hearing friends complain that they have NO time for themselves because they are a mom! For real....you're not more righteous because you go go go all the time...you're not more holy because dinner is on the table at 4:59, and you are certainly not more celestial qualified because you put everyone else's needs before your own. God holds women to the highest of esteems...and you should hold yourself to that as well. Now get off your fanny...go take a shower...brush your teeth...look in the mirror and say "I love you".

41 pairs of utter discouragement!

So if you know anything about me you will know two things to be true...I love my family...and I have a sick fascination with shopping. I LOVE shopping! I don't know what it is but when I am shopping I'm happy, and when I'm happy I am so fun! And when I am so fun.....I am happy....and when I'm happy...I am shopping. You see it's this never ending cycle of pure joy! So needless to say I have a lot of clothes....and laundry . The thing I la la LOVE to buy...besides...makeup..skincare...shoes..handbags...makeup...handbags..shoes...makeup....is JEANS. I simply adore jeans. I love the pockets of jeans...and how certain pairs my my tush..cuter. I love the way a nice pair of denim make you feel like you are the hottest thing ever...and I ADORE many what the label may say (vain I know...but you come here for the truth don't you?) HOWEVER I have been in my own little H. people! I own 42 pairs of jeans!
42 PAIRS! NO LIE!
So to my utter dismay only one of them currently fit!
Yes amigos I know I just had a super adorable cutie patottie baby 3 1/2 months ago....but still.....I am super discouraged...and have a perma-frownie. Out of 42 pairs of super cute pantaloons.........only one pair fits...my post baby tush!

What do I do? You don't understand friends..this is so difficult for me. Some of you will understand why it is so hard for me....At this point I am ready to seriously give in to "easier" ways. Why? Because Seven, Laguna, R&R, Micheal Kors, Calvin Klein, Lucky, Big Star, Silver and even my comfy buddy Levi are sitting in my closet calling my name...oh so lonely...longing for my tush to join them. I just want to welcome ED back into my world semi-permanently just till I am re-joined with my denim friends again. HOWEVER I will try my dangest to be strong...and join my jean friends again the healthy way. (I am hoping)

Mind your own beeswax lady!

I had been working on a Young Women's activity for tonight so yesterday (Tuesday) I went to Hobby Lobby (I love that place....so much Hobby in that Lobby) to get a few things that I needed for the super fab...super fun...pamper party for yw's.

While strolling down around the isles of many plastic flowers...Elle starts having a melt down. "I WANT A TOY." Why is it that every store we go to the Little Miss thinks she has to have a toy? I calmly tell her no. She then proceeds to give me two choices.

"Mom, get me a toy or I will stay here."

"Okay stay there then." I so calmly said

"NO! that is not the right choice! What's your choice? A toy or I am not going?"

"Elle" At this point I am trying not to smile and trying to be stern "then you can stay here, because we are not getting a toy today."

"That is not the right choice!"

At this very moment sloppy spinster comes around the corner and decides to take it upon herself to tell my child and myself what to do.

NO KIDDING this is what she said.

"Young Lady, you are not the one making the choices your mother is..." then hagatha...says "and you shouldn't let her speak to you that way."

WHAT? since when did I ask for a smelly, spinsty, haggy, Lady's opinion. First off....Elle was plain cute giving me options, and second I was handling the situation just fine.

So here I am standing there in utter shock...I didn't even know what to say. I really wanted to say one of two things "Look haggy...I know your butt is rather enormous..but you can keep it to yourself." or "your opinion smells like you." But I couldn't bring myself to say that instead I just said "oh well thanks, but she's learning about choices, and is hoping I make the choice she wants...she's silly."

Now Elle is getting frustrated at me, and mad that spinsty hagatha butted her patootie in our conversation and says "mom have you made your choice?"

Spinsty then guffaws, and turns and walks away.

Good riddance!

Really I would NEVER tell any mother how to mother or own child if I didn't know her. Yes Elle was being a little bugger. But I was handling it. It wasn't like I was beating my child...shessh!

Have you ever had anyone criticize your parenting in public?

Enjoy the picture of Little Miss Options!

Would YOU like to be part of our Family Vacation? (kinda...sorta...in a roundabout way)

The Mister and myself has decided that we would like to take a family vacation! HOORAY for us....Sad for you *frowny*

We have decided on the most wonderful place in the universe.....DISNEY WORLD. (don't be jealous friends...you can be a part of our vacation!)

Because we want to share in the joy and the love we are inviting one of you to come along with us..kinda...in a not so present with us way...so really you wouldn't be going...but you would be making our vacay better! How can you be a part of our fantastic family memories you ask? This is how.....CAN I BORROW YOUR DOUBLE STROLLER?

I don't have a double baby buggy and I really don't want to have to buy one. And since I am so tight with all of you blogging buddies I figured...you wouldn't mind me asking. And just think....every time I buckle my super cute kiddos in YOUR wonderful double stroller I will think of you. Your fantastic kiddie hauler will be in many of our family photos.

We will be taking our super fun SECRET vacation (IF any of you tell Elle you are on my poop list...she doesn't know and we are not telling her till we arrive in FLORIDA) within the next few months. I would share with you the date of our vacation but I don't want any crazies coming over to my house and stealing all my super fabulous shoes and bags....and makeup....and clothes...and makeup. However when you say yes to my invitation I will indeed tell you when we will be leaving.
Now come-on friends...I know you want to be part of this adventure with us...only if it is just your stroller!

I just want to scream LIAR!

Pet Peeve #4
(surprise it does NOT take place in a grocery store)

Just the other day I had the most wonderful visit with one of my super cute friends. (yes I only have super cute friends....so if your not super cute...we probably aren't friends...BAHAAHHAA)
During the course of our visit we covered many topics from child birth, to eating disorders, from traveling, to FRIENDS WHO DON'T LIVE UP TO WHAT THEY SAY! You gotcha....Pet Peeve number 4!
"Hey Kandis, your pictures are so cute! I love your hair, and your kids are darling! (why thank you...my kids are darling.) We really need to get together and hang out, maybe we could go to lunch or something....I would love to meet your kids...they are so adorable in the pictures (of course they are adorable in their pictures...because they are so adorable in person..Duh!) I'll call you and we will meet up."
Amigos....Friends....Frienemies...Folks....come on now....if you are going to say something like this, you better dang well mean it. Because people like me really get excited to talk to big people, and visit with tall humans, and carry on conversations that don't involve barbies or spongebob. Don't fill me full of honky and tell me you think we should get together if you really truly don't have time to do so! If you are just trying to make conversation, or even if you would like to hang out with someone as cool as myself but you're not sure how much time you have to do so; say something like this. "We should really catch up sometime." How simple is that. Think of all the doors and windows and garages you've left open with that statement. It could mean anything like catching up via email, or phone call, or text message, or the head nod at the store.
So if you get the message from me that we should get together and do lunch it means like what you doing tomorrow, or next week....not "let's get together after the second coming...cause I'll have so much time for you then!"

We have some WIN-AHS!

So I finally got around to drawing names for my first giveaway!
So who are the lucky stalkers?
Our first Winner is
(drum roll please.....................)
KRYSTAL holla! woop woop!

(yes this is the one she wanted...but I swear it was completely random!)
Next we have.....
Hogans Hotties..aka Tabitha! HOORAY!
She wins a T-Shirt and Jeans scarf from Kandis B.'s Global Warming Line!
...Now at first I said one person would receive a scarf made just for them...However I was feeling rather nice, and have decided to spread the love and make an additional scarf for another blogging beauty!
OUR two Lucky Ladies are..................................................................................
SARAH, and HEIDI. HOLY MOLY GIRLS...I LOVE YA!

What privacy is really for!

A couple of weeks back I was in need of some much needed, wanted, deserved alone time! I told the mister that I was going to take a nice LONG bubble bath and that if he needed anything to call his mom! If the kids got hurt call 911, and leave me a note! I also made it very, very clear to little Miss Elle if she needed me...too bad.
So here I am taking a much needed swim in my make-believe hot springs, when I am snapped out of my bliss by a loud banging on the door. "Go away!" I said to the disturber.
"mommy I need to tell you something."
"I don't want to hear it...go tell daddy."
"mommy why did you lock the door?" asked the inquisitive investigator
"because momma needs privacy...go away!"
"mom? mom? MOM?!!"
"What?" trying to remain peaceful as to not let too much of my sanctuary disappear
"mom, privacy is not for taking baths or showers, it is only for going potty!"
BAHHAHHAHA!
Now this has got me thinking...what is privacy really for? I am going to take Elles advice and note that privacy is for a few things....like going potty. (I am going to have to have a chit-chat with the little miss about baths and showers however.)
With that being said...I have decided that privacy for me, is for taking baths and showers, going potty, pin numbers, social security numbers, credit scores, where the spare key is hidden, bank accounts, deep dark secrets, how much paid in tithing, farting, picking noses, "after kids have gone to bed alone time"....
obgyn visits, weight, and how much I actually spend on clothes, shoes, makeup, skincare, makeup, makeup, clothes, skincare, shoes, handbags, makeup, and clothes.
So I have decided for me Privacy is not for blogging. It has been fun to post randomness and have people laugh at me and with me. (yes that means I am not going private any longer!)
NOW PEOPLE....FRIENDS....FRIENEMYS.....are you a private blogger? Do you read my awesomeness of a blog? Have you invited me to read yours? If not...I say
NOT FAIR! invite me dang it! That's all folks....

What does that sign say lady?

Pet Peeve #3 (and yes it happens at the grocery store)
Hypothetical story
You are enjoying your evening with your handsome/beautiful someone (don't feel bad if your special someone isn't much eye candy...this can still apply to you too....or if you are currently "dating around" yeah we all know what that means...this applies to you as well)...okay back to the "hypothetical story". You are spending a lovely evening with your hottie and you remember "oh poop" or "crap"...or another four letter word...you have forgotten something at the store...and you need it tomorrow morning. So you decided to make a quick trip over to the land of many shopping carts. You swiftly bustle through the isles grabbing those few necessities that you need. You don't even bother with a grocery hauler that takes to much time...instead you pile everything in your arms as you dodge small children. As you make your way up to the front of the culinary center cash wrap...aka grocery store checkout you spy what appears to be a line for Hannah Montana tickets. Check again folks not Hannah Montana, it's just Mohanna Motana the cashier...and that his her line...the ONE AND ONLY line. Oh wait another line opens up....it's the Jonas Bro's....um nope not them either..it's just a kid who needs a haircut. Everyone rushes to his line too. Lucky for you..you have less then 20 marvelous finds. So you say to everyone in your kind thoughts "ha ha suckers...I get to go to the self check out...cause I only have 8 treasures....don't you wish you were me?" As you meander over to the sparkling self checkout you get cut off by skinny girl wearing too much makeup...big hair and last years boots....and she has 70 generic cans of soup, 35 bottles of Suave shampoo, Two giant boxes of super plus tampons (sorry boys) 5 12 packs of diet coke...with lime...and a partridge in a pear tree. "What the...*insert any four letter word here*."
"HELLO LADY 20 items or less." You wish you had the balls to actually tell her that but you think that she will get the hint. Instead she smiles at you with her white teeth and chapped lips...and starts to scan her 1st soup can out of 70. You start telekinesis...and hope she is in tune to your super powers. Nope...she's not...she is definitely not a super hero like yourself. 30 minutes later it's your turn! YAHOO! Now only if the lady in the computer would stop saying "please remove last item from bag..." "wait for an attendant".
Finally your debit is accepted and you leave the death chamber...(yes it took so long you thought you would die there) only to remember you left your bag on the checkout stand. You ask your now ornery self "to go back or not to go back". You decide to go back! What was meant to be a 10 minute visit to the land of the cake mixes...was more like an hour visit. All because some skinny, soup eating, big hair do fixin', suave shampoo use'n, diet coke drinkin', last years boots wearin', chapped lip smilin' broad didn't ever learn to read!
Did this happen to me? um... Hypothetical remember?!

Goodbye Car...I DON'T MISS YOU!

A few years back Dave wanted to buy a old corvair. I said NO WAY JOSE...but he did it anyway. Needless to say he resided in the dog house with Ruby for months and months. I only let him out on good behavior which seemed to be rare. Just kidding Da-vid (once again you must say it with an accent). But still I HATED.. DISPISED...LOATHED....this car. Not just because I am so not a car girl....I'm a makeup...clothes..shopping...primping....dancing....girly girl kinda girl...but that is not why I didn't like the car. It wasn't even because it was a corvair. IT WAS BECAUSE IT WAS THIS CAR!
You must understand that Dave went against my wishes, and my request to get this car. The morning he went to California to get it...I was so green...yes putrid green! The night before he left I got sick...deathly ill. I mean I slept on the bathroom floor....and he LEFT ME there! *can you believe the man?* When he came home... It was so NOT the FANTASTIC car he left to buy. I think I called him a few names...and threw him a bone to chew on while he slept in the doggy dwelling. I shouldn't have even givin him that bone! *bahhahhhaa*
Then he would spend nearly every non at work waking minute (so it seemed) on the black money pit...fixing...fixing...tweeking...fixing...AHHHHH! I swear I wanted to poke my eyes out with a hot poker so I didn't have to look at the thing. Needless to say many times my car got kicked out of it's nice warm home so his black painted rust bucket could take its cozy spot!
Although I really really...REALLY didn't like the car...Dave did a FANTASTICALLY WONDERFUL job of restoring it! All his hard work did make it look like one helluva car. He put a lot of love, and care, and time...and money..and time...and time...and money...and more money....and time..oh and a little more money into this car. Well this winter as it was pretty near ball freezing (yes I did just say that) his bronco was having A LOT of issues...so he decided that it was time to sell the "precious car". Oh happy me....sad Dave. He found a buyer in Texas, and away went the car. With tears and all...my tears...tears of HAPPINESS and JOY....and a little bit of sorrow because I know how much Dave would miss it. With that moolah that Dave got he bought himself a big black "MACHO" truck. *that is a different rant for a different day*.
Anyway Dave...you're great...you worked so hard on that car....I am proud of you, and all the things that you did to that car. You are extremly talented, and the work you put into that car really shows your talent. But who am I to kidding...I'm glad my car has it's cozy garage all to itself!

*have you entered my giveaway?*

Holy Tan Batman!

I was looking at some pictures today of a FANTASTIC cruise with Dav-id (you must say that like you're mexican...peruvian....or...mexican) and I realized how it looks like I made out with the sun. (No...not just sun kissed....)

When I am tan...I feel super smokin hot , and not just because I am frying my precious skin...but tan fat looks better then white fat. But today I was looking in the mirror and guess what I saw? SUN SPOTS...and WRINKLES...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! NO MORE TANNING FOR ME! From now on...if I want to look tan I will buy my tan from Nordys.

Which now brings me to Self Tanners. Hot Mommas...You shouldn't be afraid of these complexion bronze rs in a smelly liquid goo...instead you should embrace it and celebrate that you are going to look AMAZING without ageing yourself.

This is my suggestion for self tanners. I have tried just about every type of Self TANNER...and now I know which ones work...and which ones...make you look like my favorite short people....OOMPA LOOMPAS.

When using a self tanner...seriously chic as.....exfoliate before hand. If you don't then you will have darker spots...lighter spots...and orange spots. Then when the old skin flakes off you will be hunted by Cruela De-vil...for your award winning spots. Now here is a good tip...when applying lotion to your hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet.....blend the lotion in with a non-tanner lotion...it will dilute the tan just enough so you don't look like you've used a self tanner.

Now this is the best tip I can give. I have tried drug store self tanners (not the gradual tanners) and the DO leave you looking more like Mr. Wonka's helper instead of a Greek Goddess. If you want a better natural look...spend a little more moolah! Another great tip for a luscious look is this.....(Now I am warning you this is a little more spendy....) I don't use the "BODY TANNER" on my body anymore. They are too dark and tend to look Oompa-ish (just slightly). What I do...is I buy the FACE tanner and use that on my face and body. It gives a much better glow, and doesn't do the funny stuff to your elbows, and knees. There are a few good self tanners out there. My favorite ones are Clinique and I also really like Lancome's gel face tanner.

So all you smokin hot chica's out there...stop frying your skin..you are getting older by the minute! Some people are trying to kick the bottle.....for this I say love the bottle...embrace the bottle!

I buy.....before you buy.

So I thought this would be something super fun for myself....and a good reason to spend money....and a good way to find new beautifying helpers!

Have you ever wondered about a makeup product. Or maybe your skin care regimen needs fixing...or maybe you want to try a new haircare line...but you don't want to try something new because you are a tight wad? Or maybe you are afraid of spending the moolah because you are uncertain how beautiful you will actually turn out? Well I will do it for you...
for myself...for you.

So this is what I want you to do...and you have to do it...because as Elle says...I am the boss! And so that must count for even this!
Okay...so let me know what you have wanted to try, or a problem you want to fix...and I will buy...and try...and give you my feedback, and my tips and suggestions.
I know all you hot chicas out there have things you've wanted to try out, but are tooooo much of a CHEAPO to actually try it. And I LOVE stuff like this...so this will be super fun for me.
So Humor me people, and tell me what you want to try, and I will let you know how it goes before you head off to the mall to spend a small fortune to help beautify yourself. (not that you're not already beautiful....some of you anyway...HA!)
Okay friends...start talking...and I'll go SHOPPING!

It has gotten out of CONTROL!

Okay friends...I have this little tiny..tinsy HUGE...problem. Now I know this problem can be fixed...I just don't have the will power...I think I need serious help.

LAUNDRY! I can't tell you how much I hate doing the laundry! I hate sorting, washing, folding, putting away...I HATE LAUNDRY. But here is the bigger problem...I LOVE SHOPPING, and I love clothes. Therefore I have BOAT LOADS OF LAUNDRY. This is no joke friends...I mean I could sink the Titanic myself with the massive and embarrassing amounts of laundry I have. I think I should check myself into rehab for this problem. I can't seem to stop buying clothes, and I can't seem to start washing the laundry. Today was the first day I've admitted to myself that I am a shopping whore....and the repercussion of this whoredom is oodles of never ending piles of sevens, rockin republic, laguna, .....denim...cotton...satin....twill...chiffon....knit....wool.....Calvin Klein...Marc Jacobs....even some polyester...yes you name it...it is drawn to me like makeup is drawn to my bathroom. Now I just don't have oodles upon millions upon oodles of millions of clothing items for myself...but for my girls. My girlie's are the best dressed little tots around. I figure if I admit this to the blog stalking world then perhaps I will actually stop this ridiculous renegade of buying and never washing. So today....I took some pictures of just what I am up against.

These here are clean clothes that have been waiting to be folded for weeks on end...and I can't bring myself to do it...I just look at the baskets and want to puke...it's so overwhelming.
Now this is piles of laundry waiting to take a spin in the torture chamber. Mind you...this is six separators, and there is a full load in the washer and dryer when this picture was taken.
You might think that the closets in my house are empty...NO WAY..they are still bursting at the seams. So does anyone know of any good rehab centers for those who are trying to recover from this condition?

I'm a Proud Momma!

I must admit that I am one proud momma! I personally think my girls are the most adorable girls in the entire world. I don't really care how cute your girls might be...but mine beats them by a whole lot. Okay so that was mean..but I am mean, but it's how this momma feels today...so bug off!

So here are some recent pictures of the cutest 11 week old baby in the entire world! Feel free to comment on how adorable she is, just to re-affirm what we already know! ( I am pretty sure at this point you are really jaded and calling me some fantastically lovely names!)

Isn't she so cute?! Don't be jealous I am sure your kids are cute too...but pretty sure not as cute as mine. Okay...I'll stop...your kids are way cute too..you happy now?!

This should be an advertisment!

Elle's best friend is Alexa my niece. It is so convenient for them to play because Alexa lives behind us. So needless to say they often take baths together before bedtime because they live so close. I took this picture of them one night....Johnson's and Johnson's should pay me...because this would be a great add. Look at the bubbles on them and everything..PERFECT!
I love these two girls, and so should Johnson's and Johnson's!

Pet Peeve #2

I seem to have a lot of pet peeves when it comes to the grocery store. I have to ask does entering a supermarket turn people into rude, inconsiderate jerks? I am usually a very polite person, and I try to be nice to everyone that I come in contact with....BUT PEOPLE....YOU ARE KILLING THIS NICE GAL!

PET PEEVE #2 is SHOPPING CARTS.
Shopping carts are not meant to be a dune buggy to cut people off with, and take out small children. Shopping carts are not garbage cans and thus you shouldn't leave your nasty trash in them...so my yummy donuts have to mingle with your nasty soda cans, and candy wrappers.
Shopping cart controllers should be required to pass several tests:
  • Merging. Yes when someone is coming off of one isle to the "main-way" maybe heading to another isle you should look around the corner to see if someone is coming. Shopping carts do not have blinkers, and it is up to you to watch for oncoming drivers..and pedestrians.
  • Driving directions. Folks we are not in England...we drive on the right side of the road....so should your cart. Passing is allowed if on coming traffic has passed and it is safe to go.
  • Parking and Stopping. Yes this is important when you are shopping because you do need to stop. HOWEVER, pull your "vehicle" over to the side. Do not hog the road way. If you have small children make them stand to the side as well. If nobody is in the isle with you, that is fine to be in the middle of the road...but if you are sharing the road with other coupon clippers, aspiring chefs, and other food eating participants...they too need to make their way down the isle like runway, and cannot strut their stuff with your rude butt hogging the way.
  • When finished with so called grocery goodie hauler RETURN IT TO THE SHOPPING CORAL! You know the place in the parking lot that says "cart return" it likes like a cattle coral. These friendly things are meant to store shopping dune buggies in. Please don't leave your cart up against somebody's car, or parked behind somebody's car, and don't leave your cart in the middle of a parking spot...so I have to get out to move the cart to have a better parking spot. Also don't leave your four wheeled friend somewhere that it can roll away, gain incredible speed and hit my car!

Next time someones cart is in the way I may just ram it.... yes full on bumper cars! Yes I am currently going to school to be the shopping cart police...do I need to show you my badge?

Have a good day!

Be who you want to be!

For quite sometime I have wanted to create a blog that would be for myself, and for my own journey. I finally stopped being so lazy, and decided to do it. When my family blog goes private this blog will not. However this new blog will not have any pictures of my family on it, nor will it talk about my family life...so you still need to let me know if you want to be added to my blog. This blog will be about things that I love, things that I enjoy. This blog is to help me to become who I want to be! I hope that it reaches out to others helping them to be who they want to become as well.
http://bewhoyouwanttobecome.blogspot.com/

So put me on the blogs you follow, and spread the word. It should be interesting.

P.S Don't forget to leave me a comment with your email so I can add you to my private list.

I really don't want to...but I'm going to! SAD DAY!

So Dave has been bugging and bugging and bugging me..to put our blog to private. He's a protective daddy! So I guess we are going to do it.
HOWEVER I am not happy with this move. I enjoy all those people who have found me through being public, and I love finding people I know who have blogs too. Honestly I get kinda mad when I want to blog stalk someone and find that their blog is now private...GRRRRRRRRRR. But if I keep putting this off then I am afraid Dave will cut my cosmetic budget, and I can't have that!
SO if you are a friend, a old school mate, a frienemy, a friend of a friend, a relative, a relative of a relative, a friend of a relative, a old teacher, the girl I said hi to at the grocery store, or just like me a blog stalker and you like to read my blog..because I know what that's like and I lOve to read read random blogs....then I am inviting you to continue to read my blog. Leave me a comment, or you email address, or send me your email address..my blogging email is kandieice@hotmail.com (yes kandie ice is my super hero name!)
Now with this being said...if you don't have a blog and want to read..that is fine...still get me your email address....BUT if you have a PRIVATE blog and have not invited me...but you still want to read about my fantastically wonderful CraZy world...I hope you send an invite to me!
Okay this is going in effect two weeks from NOW!
(OH MAN THIS SUCKS!)

Loves of my life!

I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful little family. Even though things aren't always easy they are so worth it!
First of all my great girls! Elle is so awesome, and so much fun. She is such a big helper, and loves her little sis. Elle is true pink all the time....all girl!

Ava...our miracle! Wow I can't even begin to express how grateful to my Heavenly Father to blessing us with Ava. After we were told that there was noway that we would have anymore children of our own...we got pregnant with Ava. Just in the two short months she has been with us we have been so blessed. We can't wait to see her little personality develop.

And best of all is my cute husband. Dave is so great. Although there is times where I want to push him out of bed...or the car...or out of many other fast moving transportation modes...I LOVE HIM!
He cares so much about me. I love all the corkey things about him. Like how he eats BOAT LOADS of candy and never gains any weight. (And when I say boat loads...that is the truth...really BOAT LOADS) How he starts random conversations, and how he says the words Battery and Anthony. I adore his corse/horse hair..that seems to grow at an astonishing rate...HELLO FRO. I love the way he laughs when he finds something truly funny, and the way he tears up when he is being sensitive. So to you Dave...Thank You for loving me beyond life, for stealing my scale, for emailing michelle, for putting up with ed...for letting me spend obscene amounts of money on skincare and makeup, and clothes, and shoes, and clothes, and makeup...and other stuff that I haven't told you about. Thank You for letting me drag you to chick flicks, and not dragging me to car shows. Thank You for going to work everyday so I get to play dress up with the girls...Thank You for letting me tell you NO so many times...and not getting upset. I am really so blessed and excited to get to spend eternity with you. LOVE YOU!

Happy Valentines Day!

Pet Peeve

I have a BIG...HUGE pet peeve. I am here to warn all of you offenders of this. Listen up! When standing at the check out line at the grocery store....please please please be courteous..this is how. When you are finished loading all your goods on the check out stand....PUT A DIVIDER DOWN! You know what I mean by divider? The long black rubber thing that sits underneath the mints and gum, that is not meant to beat small children with, but to separate your order from your fellow shopper.
Now I find it completely rude to have your enormous order hogging up the entire space, and the space that isn't filled because you didn't put down the friendly black separator. So either I reach across your bread, tampons, beer, and tomatoes to reach so called order divider, or you help a friend out and when you've finished unloading your treasures you place one down yourself. When you do not help utilize these handy helpers it makes it really inconvenient for me to have to wait for your last item to go through the checkers hand to start to unload my own culinary finds. So let this be a warning to all of you offenders...If you find yourself in front of me at the check out, and have not placed so called black rubber helper at the end of your grocery goodies...you will find when you get home several packs of mints and gum have mysteriously made their way into your bags. Yes when you check your receipt yes you would have paid an extra 4 dollars for something you didn't want. Yes I am that cruel to throw in some mints, gum, hand sanitizer at the end of your stuff...just for not putting a divider down. So next time you go to the store...think of me! That's all! (Oh I feel better now!)

Beauty Tools!

So I don't know why, but people ask me all the time what beauty products I use. I like to believe that they ask me because my face looks great...let's hope that is the reason, and not because they want to avoid looking like me. SO I thought I would share a few of my favorite things, in case you've ever wondered...or if you want to avoid ending up looking like me..(oh please let it not be the latter one.I hope people really don't think that.)

My FAVORITE Mascara:
Diorshow Mascara
What it is:
A cult-followed mascara that leaves lashes ultra thick, long, and curled.

What it is formulated to do:
Diorshow Mascara is Dior's original, must-have mascara that delivers ultra-glam, catwalk-length lashes. Makeup artists all over the world use this product to create the longest, thickest, curviest lashes ever.
I will never buy another type of Mascara!

My Favorite Foundation:
Okay so this is a hard one for me because I have tried so many. My favorite one I do not currently use because I can't buy it anywhere however it was amazing. The one I currently use is also great...and I will admit I am starting to fall in love with this foundation, and thinking I'll never use anything else (until summer that is)

My Favorite Lip Gloss
Bare Minerals Buxom
This lip gloss gives your lips a tingly feeling, and plumps your lips as well.
Even with it's super glossy shine..it isn't sticky or tacky! LOVE IT!

My Favorite Color is DOLLY

Eyebrows:
I love the Anastasia kit you can buy at Nordstroms (or Sephora)
It comes with stencils so you get the right shape for you, a powder to fill in your brows, tweezers, and a gel like mascara thingy to seal the color on your brows.
I never realized how important brows were, but they are. I now think of them as the frame of the face. Ladies if you don't do your brows...get them done...and get this kit. Believe me you won't regret it!

And the most asked question is:
"What skincare do you use"
I used to be able to say "Clinique, only Clinique" That is when I worked for Clinique...I can't say that anymore. The truth is...I don't use much Clinique anymore. But I will share with you what I do use.

Face Wash:

philosophy 'purity made simple' one-step facial cleanser.
I've tried a lot of cleansers but never found one I loved. I crave deeply cleansed skin. I want a cleanser that will multi-task for me (eye makeup remover, cleanser, toner).
However even though Purity works as a "toner" I use something else as well.

Tone/Exfoliate
I still use Clinique Clarifying Lotion. I use a number 4 because I've used it for so long, but don't use a number 4 if you are just beginning to use this product. Talk to the White Coat Clinique Girls, and they will help you decide which one is best for you!

Moisturize:
Now my moisturizer of choice is very pricey. However I love love love it! So I will share it with you, along with the one I use when I run out, and can't afford my favorite one.
This moisturizer is great if you have dry skin like me! A little goes a long way, and it smells so great!
Bobbi Brown 'Extra' SPF 25 Moisturizing Balm

And when I run out of "Extra" and can't afford it at the time I use:
philosophy 'hope in a jar' for dry skin
This formula for dry, sensitive skin has been used extensively by physicians throughout the world to assist in the healing process of traumatized skin.
They also have it for regular skin too.

Now you know what I use! I love all my "Beauty Tools". What is your favorite beauty tool or secret?

My Chunky Monkey!

Having Ava is so different then when I had Elle. Elle was always so tiny, and never had any chub! Ava is my CHUNKY MONKEY...and I LOVE IT!

P.S. Today I posted a lot!! Make sure you scroll Down to read all of the posts and see the fun pictures!

Twinkle Twinkle Twinkle....

Elle has been taking Violin Lessons for the past six months. She loves her teacher "Miss Julie", and named her violin "Tinker Bell".
Enjoy a few recent pictures of her practicing her violin!

She should be a Hair Model!

Elle has the most beautiful long blond hair. I am always telling her how beautiful it is! My biggest fear is her getting scissors!
I have thought of gently perming her hair..I think it would be really pretty...what do you all think..should I perm it, or leave it straight?

Splish Splash...my girls taking a bath!

Here is some fun bath time pictures that I just love!
