Elle has the most beautiful long blond hair. I am always telling her how beautiful it is! My biggest fear is her getting scissors! I have thought of gently perming her hair..I think it would be really pretty...what do you all think..should I perm it, or leave it straight?
I say no on the perm. It is so beautiful now, she has the rest of her life to damage it up with a perm. Then again, I am sure you could do like a body wave or something, that might be less damaging.
P.S. I have no idea if a body wave is less damaging. I just thought I read that somewhere...
Don't perm it...whatever you do...don't perm it. She still has baby fine hair even though it may not look like it. She has beautiful hair and you don't want to damage it by processing it!
I understand you being tempted to perm it, but don't! I remember the best hair advice I've ever heard (I hate to say it, but it was from Doctor Oz) was that your hair should be treated like a fine tapestry, since it's technically dead. Once you damage it, it's damaged until you cut that portion off.
I always loved perms as a child, and they weren't too rough on my hair, but found that the last one I had totally destroyed my hair (or... possibly it was the wal-mart straightener kit that I bought when I got frustrated with it), but my hair has never recovered. Her hair is so gorgeous. Maybe try putting it in curlers a few times before you decide. Either way, I'm sure she'll be so cute!
I am a spunky momma of two beautiful girlies. I love all things girlish and fru fru. I love my hubby Dave, and the way he says battery. I hate bugs and boogers and smelly feet...thus I am so blessed to be a momma to girls. I consider myself so amazingly blessed...needless to say I think I am one hip Mormon!

I say leave it. That's just me...
Try a quick curl with the flat iron. That would be beautiful.
She's beautiful no matter what!!
