Doesn't look like the start of a Caribbean cruise..does it?!

Dave and I celebrate our 10 year anniversary early.  Our anniversary isn't until June, but we wanted to escape the cold and let's face it...it was cheaper to go on a cruise in February then June.  So we did.
Any way we took a wonderful 11 day 10 night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean leaving out of New York.
It was so wonderful...Have I said it was wonderful...cause it really was wonderful.

HOWEVER...when we got to New York it was FREEZING! This was the day that the entire nation was washed over with freezing temps.  We were so grateful that we landed in New York safely because there was so much ice.  We took a red eye flight to JFK and I now know why they call it the red eye.  NO SLEEP DOES NOTHING FOR MY GREEN EYES!

We took a shuttle bus thingy that we found out about at the airport to the cruise terminal...and let me tell you it was so scary.  Those drivers are insane.  HOW DO THEY PASS A DRIVING TEST?!  I leaned over to Dave and said "honey, you're a really good driver." (If you know how Dave drives then you can understand)

When we got on our beautiful boat we got to go eat.  I hadn't eaten since dinner the night before and it was now 12-ish.  So I was a  bit hungry.

We couldn't really go outside on the decks because it was so cold and iced over so the only place outside we could go on the ship was a small deck on the back.

WE were so ready to blow the NYC and head to a much warmer climate.

Stay tuned for more peeks at our fabulous...and much needed vacation!

XOXO
Tired from a long flight and NO sleep!

This was so yummy..so I had to take a picture of it.

Doesn't it look cold...cause it was!

Ice

more ice

Yes...more ice!

oh and once more..ICE! It was FREEZING!

Finally we were leaving!

Bye Bye New York!

Hello Warm weather...(well in a few days we would reach warm weather!)
