Hey Friends...sorry about that...blogging I mean. I just couldn't blog....I just didn't feel like it. So here I am trying to get out of the slump that I am in.
DISNEYWORLD!
We had such a great time!
We did so much and loved almost every moment of it! Ava could be a little stink bug sometimes....but most of the time it was super fun!
Day 1
We decided to book early flights to Florida so we could enjoy part of a day in WDW. So our was scheduled to leave at 6:00 a.m! Holy Moly folks...that meant that Dave and I had to wake up at 3:00 something-ish and we would have to leave our casa around 4:00 something-ish. WELL....we get to the airport and go to the check in kiosk and find that our flight was CANCELLED! -almost big tears-
We then find out that Dave and Elle were booked on another direct flight to leave at 9:00 am, and Ava and I were leaving at 7:00 on a flight to Minn/St.Paul and then to Florida. NOWAY! Not going to happen! So we dealt with the Delta people for an hour to get us on the same flight. Hip-Hip-Hooray.....We got it! We were all put on the direct flight to Orlando at 9:00 am. However I'm still not very happy about this considering that we woke up ...for real... even before the suns butt crack was showing. {silver lining- at least we got re-booked huh?}
{before we found out our flight was cancelled} ...doesn't she look happy in her new stroller?
Finally we boarded our 747 and off we "jetted" to MCO.....aka...Orlando....aka Florida...aka....Walt Disney World aka....the land where magic happens...dreams come true...and moms and dads are suckers and spend more money then they planned on spending on their little wish makers!
When we arrived in Florida we boarded Disneys Magical Express. I really recommend doing this if going to ONLY Disneyworld when visiting 'central Florida'. This is why. When you check your bags in at the airport prior to flying on your aircraft ....you put these snazzy yellow tags on your bags. That's it...that's all you do. When you arrive in Flor-i-da....Disney Magical Express picks you up. And when you get to your hotel...guess what?????? your bags, are in your room waiting for you! FOR REAL! It was magic!
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort....one of Disneys properties. It was really fun, and nice. However it was REALLY big. So when our shuttle came to pick us up for the parks, we were the last stop so the shuttles were already full. The Hotel is split up into Caribbean Villages...we stayed in Barbados...or as Elle says Barb-babe-bos! Cute!
Because we arrived later then we had planned, we decided to not go to any parks. Instead we went to Downtown Disney to grab a bite to eat! When we booked our trip we decided to get the Dining Deluxe Plan. This way we could eat wherever we wanted....and all of our meals were payed for before we left. This was nice concidereing how expensive Disney food is. {no lie... our sit down meals averaged 100.00..EVERY MEAL}
This evening we ate at Capt'n Jacks.....on the lake at downtown Disney.
After we had dinner our friends Ashley and Troy and their girls Brooklyn and Caitlyn met us at Downtown Disney. (They were in Florida for vacation too) We had a fun night dancing at Pleasure Island, and having ice-cream at Girridellis. The girls we so excited to see each-other. After that evening every time we went to Downtown Disney Elle would ask if the Butchers were going to meet us. We are so glad we got to share part (even if it was a tinsy part) of our vacation with some of our best friends!

Day 2
We woke up the next morning and Elle was beyond excited to get going. We spent our first day...where else...the Magic Kingdom. It was so exciting to see Elles face as we walked up Main Street USA and saw the majestic Cinderellas Castle. (I love this castle so much more then Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland)
We made perfect timing that morning because when we reached the top of the castle we were 20 minutes away from the morning show to begin in front of the castle. So we got a great spot and watched the magic unfold!
After we watched the show we had breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. Both Elle and Ava loved the characters...and the Characters loved them...especially AVA!
We had a wonderful Day...Elle got to meet the Princesses and ride all sorts of rides.
In Tommorowland we did Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Elle and Dave were chosen as to be featured in the show...and the Monsters asked them questions, and made jokes about them. It was so much fun!
Later that afternoon Elle has her Princess Make-over in the Castle at the Bibiddi-Bobiddi-Boutique. She picked out the Princess Jasmin dress, and her Fairy Godmother in training turned her into a fairytale princess.
The highlight of the evening was when we got to eat dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table. Before we went to the upper floors of the castle the girls got to meet Cinderella in the Castle. Then we were taken upstairs in the Castle where we were treated like royalty. Seriously...they galled us Your Majesty and Your Highness and of course the girls were always greeted with the title of Princess. While we ate dinner the Fireworks started outside the Castle and we could watch them from where we sat. It was truly magical. Then the "Real" Fairy Godmother came out and did a show...and granted wishes. It was the perfect ending to a really magical day.
When leaving the dinner the park had already closed so we were one of the only ones left in the park. It was really awesome to stroll down Mainstreet by ourselves!
{the girls were completely exhausted from such a fun and go go go day...here is proof}
......Stay tuned for the next few days of our vacation..............
